BEST VR headset under 50
To obtain an engaging, immersive experience, you don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars on a BEST VR headset under 50. Each of the headsets on our list comfortably and cheaply puts the world of virtual reality in your hands. They’re all under $50, too!
The Most Economical VR Headset
You’re reading this because you’re on a budget and want a fantastic virtual reality headset, right? You may stop reading right now for 90% of you. Google Cardboard is the best VR headset for the money. For less than $20, it brings virtual reality to life! It’s a high-quality viewer that syncs with your smartphone applications and comes together in three simple steps. From Google’s crystal-clear glasses, you can explore the marvels of deep space, dance on stage with Justin Bieber (Despa – SHUT UP FOR THE LOVE OF GOD), and visit the ruins of Machu Picchu. We were immediately enamored with how entertaining and engaging Google Street View was. If you’re anything like us, you’ll like roaming aimlessly around renowned sites, far-flung cities, and your own backyard.
Daydream View by Google
It may seem futuristic, but getting from anyplace in the globe to anywhere else in the world now costs less than a two-person meal at Chili’s. Daydream View is a step up from Cardboard, and it comes with a slew of new and interesting applications and games. We really felt as though we were experiencing the world rather than simply viewing it. Simply download the Daydream app (which immerses you in an immersive world where you can stream Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, and other content), plug your phone into the headset, and you’re ready to go. In this price range, the controller is the finest on the market, providing you with the best possible interactive experience with your programs. It immediately changes into a sword, wand, or anything else you want it to be if you download the appropriate applications. We liked the breathable head strap since we’re spoiled brats who can’t take a second of pain. Unlike other straps, which hurt your skin or make you feel like you’re wearing a boa constrictor, this one felt like a hairnet.
Homido iPhone and Android VR Headset
The Homido headset was one of our favorites for two reasons: The adjustable distance was ideal for our eyes, and the ergonomic head strap felt like melted butter on the backs of our heads (which we’re not sure is a good thing). Many of the other headsets we tested made watching movies difficult. This one allows you to adjust till you reach the sweet spot, preventing eye strain. It’s quite amazing. That is plenty to compile this list, and it also comes at a low cost. It’s simple, but if you’re reading this, that’s most likely what you’re looking for. It doesn’t include a controller or any other frills. It’s simply a basic, uncomplicated headset. For less than the cost of a good haircut, you can have endless immersive entertainment in ergonomic comfort. We like what we hear.
