Paper does not feed correctly

Remove the paper from the sheet feeder if it won’t feed. Reload it under the tab on the right side, then press the tab on the left edge guide into place and slide it on the paper. Check that the paper does not extend beyond the arrow mark on the left edge guide.

Firstly, if required, cancel the print job.

  • For windows: Select all programs from the Start screen by right-clicking the screen. Choose Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Devices and Printers from the drop-down menu. If necessary, right-click your product name, choose to see what’s printing, and then right-click your product name again. Right-click the halted print job, then select Cancel and Yes from the menu.
  • For Mac: Select the System Preferences from the Apple menu bar, then Printers & Scanners. To access the print queue, double-click your product. In the list, select the upcoming print job(s), and then click on the cross.

After you have cancelled all the previous printing jobs now clear out all the jammed paper. Or that carefully remove the visible part of the paper from the output tray. If any part of the paper is stuck inside your printer turn your printer off completely. Then lift the scanner part of the printer and clean out any residual paper from the inside, remember do not list the scanner with the paper cover open. Now, close the printer’s scanner back again and restart your printer.  Check if the error message is still there.

From your printer’s paper feeder and position them correctly and put them back inside the printer.  Calibrating Printer: The product calibrates itself on its own. This is not an error notice, and it will go away in about a minute or longer, depending on the product’s condition. Now check the type the paper in the device that does not match the printer driver’s paper typesetting. For printing, only media that matches the paper size setting will be used. To clear this error, go to the Setup menu’s Printer Settings and select Clear Warning from the Reset Menu.

If the paper does not fully eject, you may have selected the incorrect paper size. Using the product control panel, cancel printing, and then push the paper/cancel button to eject the paper. Remove any residual paper from the product. When you reprint, make sure you use the correct size. The paper may be moist or overly thin if it wrinkles when it ejects. Reprint on the new paper, being careful to choose the correct paper type setting in your printer programs.

Now, carefully click the “start” button and open the scanner to extract the file rapidly. When you’re prompted to reproduce something, choose the appropriate paper size. If it still appears to be stuck, try loading new documents.
