At this point, there are motherboards that have RGB lighting built into them which is something that I think looks pretty cool but isn’t necessary by any means.
Overall, just make sure that whatever you do you pick a motherboard that is going to have everything that you need and nothing more. Sometimes it can be tempting to buy the most expensive one because it does have a few extra features but unless you absolutely need those features then don’t waste your money on them.
