When should oil massage be done on the body, before bath or after bath?

  • It depends on the nature of your skin whether you will apply oil on the body before bath or after. Because we all have different skin types. Some people have dry skin, some people have oily skin and some people have normal skin.
  • If you have dry skin, apply oil after bathing.
  • If you have normal skin, then apply oil on the body after bathing with soap. After that take bath with plain water.
  • And if you have oily skin, massage the oil all over your body 10 minutes before taking a bath. After that, take a bath using soap.
  • If you massage the body with oil before bathing, then there must be a little gap between massage and bath.
  • If you want to take maximum advantage of oil massage, then you should sit for a while in the morning sun after oil massage. Then the bath should be taken only after ten-fifteen minutes. By doing this, your skin will produce Vitamin D in the morning sun, which will be very beneficial for your health.
